  • I have purchased the program but I would like to know if there is a way to checkout by group? For instance, I have a group called Camera Kit 1 and I would like to check out the entire case instead of each individual piece. Is this possible?

Hi Sonya, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. You can use the group actions feature to accomplish this task. Using the Expand/Collapse feature on the Asset Listing Page, select to expand by Group. Select the + sign next to the group you wish to check out then click the select all checkbox. Once all the desired assets (members of the group) are selected, click on the button called Group Action toward the top right side of the page. Then, select the desired action (Check out in this case). There will be a pop-up screen that asks for the related information and click update. Please let us know if you have additional questions or need assistance!

      • That is great and it works for what I am asking. Now, I was trying to do this on my ipad and i didn’t see a way to group it. So, I guess I need to just do this on the desktop, correct?

I observed that there is a ‘Scan’ option available when you register / log an asset, what is the purpose or how can one use this facility to register an asset?

    • jeremy says:

Great question! With the Asset Panda mobile app, you can use the barcode scanner on your mobile device to scan items directly into the system. There is no need to purchase additional hardware to utilize the scanning function. Any user with a mobile device can quickly search, update and maintain accurate asset records.

  • RashidO says:

    Thanks Jeremy
This is a bit of a silly question for which I apologise. Does one scan the IMEI number of the device that one wants to scan into the system, or does one scan the device directly? The scan option on a desktop just produces a generic device from the eBay site as opposed to the details of the asset that one wishes to record?
Secondly, when one lends an asset, does AssetPanda send an email to the borrower informing them of the asset the intend to borrow, so that they can confirm receipt of notification of the item they requested to lend?
