WRS Specialists is a national provider of cold-compression therapy (CCT) and Point of Care Dispensing (POCD), with a specific commitment to reduce orthopedic patients’ consumption of opioids. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, WRS has spent the past 12+ years helping patients return to their pre-injury, productive and active lifestyle, as quickly and as comfortably as possible.

We specialize in treating patients who have suffered a work or auto-related injury. So for our customers, getting better, faster, is critical. The equipment we provide is helping him/her recover faster so they can return to their job and their income. Our CCT solutions reduce opioid consumption and help injured workers recovering from orthopedic surgery get back to work more quickly. And we needed a better, more reliable and accurate way to help us track those therapy devices for our patients.

Our cold-compression therapy devices and wraps (which are a one-time use product) are spread out around the country in roughly 75 locations. Each group ranges from 1 to 123 devices. Every time a patient is prescribed our unit for treatment, we have to input the details about the device/patient and track where the item is being sent to. We were using Google Sheets to do this initially. It was a very manual process and not very accurate. If something wasn't updated or transferred for each item, then our inventory would be off. Now with Asset Panda in place, having actions, built-in scanning capabilities, and electronic signatures create a much more concise way of tracking our inventory.

Understanding Asset Panda’s interface and the many offerings the platform features have been super simple to understand and very straightforward. It has changed the way we work by allowing us to go from a lot of manual input to being more automated in our tracking capabilities. As a result, Asset Panda has permitted us to micromanage our service force much easier.

Asset Panda’s mobile app, coupled with the scanning features has increased our accuracy to a near 100%. That never would have been possible with our old way of tracking assets. Now we always have up-to-date data on what devices we have and where they have been sent. After using Asset Panda for almost a year, we are saving nearly 4 hours a day on tracking activities. That in and of itself is deserving of a 10 for Asset Panda!
