Tracerco originated in the UK in 1958 and has since expanded its product range and geographic reach. Its range of products and services are designed to ensure full optimization and efficiency of customers' assets across the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
In total, we have 350 employees. From our branch location in Pasadena, Texas, where we have a staff of 100, we track chemicals, sampling kits, and work gear. They move globally.
We used to track those assets using Excel spreadsheets and hand counts. It took time and effort for us to rely on a manual system. We also had asset losses.
We've been using both the web and mobile Asset Panda apps, although we primarily use the mobile app. Asset Panda's cloud-based mobile functionality was something absolutely necessary for us. The versatility of the platform has allowed us to create a custom inventory/asset system that has been cost-effective to implement. And Asset Panda has allowed many people to contribute to a system that was once managed manually by one person. I estimate that we're saving three hours a day by using Asset Panda for our asset tracking efforts.
Asset Panda's interface and features offering are simple to navigate and understand. Features that have been especially useful for us include unlimited actions, unlimited custom fields, customized reporting, asset tracking over multiple locations, inventory management, the ability to customize the mobile app from the web, role-based settings and data import. We're also using Asset Panda's Microsoft Active Directory integration.
Overall, our experience with Asset Panda has been good. They've been very responsive to any issues we have.
