Painters USA Inc. employs a staff of more than 150, including on-site project managers who guide every job from start to completion; and prides itself on maintaining cutting-edge job site safety, training and technology standards. Before Asset Panda, this 41-year-old company relied on manual processes to estimate, track and manage equipment and assets. Staff either used pen and paper or based their calculations on verbal estimates.
We have a lot of equipment we need to keep track of, and we move our assets across different locations and job sites. In the past, we would make mistakes when we were determining how much equipment we had available for a job. We had to triple-check our work, which would then cause us to do extra work.
Now, thanks to Asset Panda, we can see everything in the system; we don’t have to second-guess whether the information is correct. Our project coordinators use the online app to check equipment, while our foremen use the mobile app on their phones.
Asset Panda is very easy to use. It’s user-friendly, and the training is very simple. The feature that’s been particularly useful is our ability to assign users, so they have their own equipment assigned to them. Customer service has been great – always very friendly and timely.
