How can MSPs use Asset Panda to maintain separate views and reports for each of our individual client portfolios?

MSPs can separate each client’s portfolio in Asset Panda by organizing their data into dedicated Modules or Collections and applying Role-based Permissions with Limited Record Visibility (LRV). Each technician or client manager is assigned a Role that only grants access to the modules and records associated with their client. This ensures clean separation of data and reporting so each client sees only their authorized assets.

Yes. Asset Panda integrates with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Okta to support directory-based identity management. Azure AD allows automatic user provisioning into Asset Panda, keeping employee records up to date, while both Azure AD and Okta support Single Sign-On (SSO) so users can access Asset Panda with their existing credentials. After users are synced or authenticated, administrators assign Roles within Asset Panda to manage permissions.

MSPs can automate client audit reporting by creating Saved Views that contain the asset data required for compliance—such as assignments, locations, maintenance history, or depreciation—and then using Scheduled Automations to email those reports as CSV or Excel attachments on a recurring schedule. MSPs assign the client’s leaders or auditors as recipients, ensuring they receive up-to-date, audit-ready asset records without manual effort.

Asset Panda enforces accountability during transfers by using customizable transfer forms and the system’s immutable Activity Stream. When an MSP technician updates an asset’s Location or Assigned To fields through a transfer form, the system automatically logs who made the update, when it occurred, and what changed. You can also require a Signature field on the transfer form so the client representative signs for the equipment. This creates a secure, verifiable chain of custody when assets move from the MSP to the client site.
