Founded in 1894, Milwaukee, WI-based Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren is named among the nation’s 200 largest law firms. We have established ourselves as trusted advisors in many areas of corporate law and handle a lot of monetary cases, from the SEC to employee benefits.
When I came on board with the firm, I noticed that there was no asset management practice in place … and I was shocked. The version of asset tracking in place involved the use of a “Smartsheet” that was never updated regularly. The IT department was bleeding revenue because we had no idea what equipment was where and when/if it was ever coming back. No one was taking asset management seriously.
With Asset Panda securely in place for just over a year, we now have control of our inventory and we are holding our employees accountable for the equipment they use across our offices, which are located among 6 different locations, with 3 of them being out of state. Asset Panda is simple to use, and is super easy to set up for our allocated users once the templates are built. I’d estimate we save an hour of time every day that normally would have been spent on tracking or managing our assets unnecessarily.
The mobile app is awesome – and thanks to its ease of use, we are starting to barcode everything. Because of the mobile capability Asset Panda has afforded us, it has been great for taking equipment to the customer, and having them sign for it on the go. We can hold people accountable using their signature, and when equipment gets returned. We no longer are buying more or duplicates of items unnecessarily because someone took something home and never remembered to bring it back.
Customer service has been great, and we haven’t run into any roadblocks since putting Asset Panda to work for us. I highly recommend Asset Panda for anyone looking to manage their assets and would rate it a “10!”
