Schneider Electric is a worldwide electrical manufacturing and service company. We have assets in 20-plus company locations and maintain more than 300 field service vehicles. We’re implementing Asset Panda to assist us within our service team to share specialty tools among our field service technicians and track calibrations. Before Asset Panda, we used an Excel-based local methodology across 20 locations. We’re in the process of centralizing this within Asset Panda.

In the four months since we’ve been using both the mobile and desktop Asset Panda apps, we've found it to be very flexible and user- friendly. While we have encountered some system limitations, as with all software, we’re continually impressed with the excellent support we receive. Asset Panda’s support team is both knowledgeable and responsive, which is a huge plus when we’re trying to solve problems on a real-time basis. The customer service and support has been excellent and rivals or supersedes the software itself.

The feature of the software that’s been especially useful is its flexibility. We’re able to customize many of the various functions to support our needs without having to go to an IT development team. We’re too early in our plan to realize the financial benefits that are possible; however, the visibility of equipment across office and field-based platforms on a real-time basis is a very big plus.
