Asset Panda Founder & CEO, Rex Kurzius, Wins 2018 Entrepreneur Of The Year Award

Kurzius was recognized at the Frisco Chamber of Commerce’s 35th Annual Frisco Number Ones Gala for his efforts to support young entrepreneurs, service to the community, and the rapid growth of Asset Panda.

FRISCO, TX, Feb. 6, 2019, — Asset Panda announced today that Rex Kurzius, CEO and Founder of Asset Panda — a cloud-based asset tracking and inventory management solution — has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

“This recognition makes all the hard work, perseverance and grit it takes to build a successful company worth it,” said Kurzius, “I hope others see this success and are inspired to believe in themselves and know that anything is possible.”

Led by Kurzius, Asset Panda achieved a three-year growth rate of 3,552%, earning the company an Inc. 5000 award in 2018 for being the 104th fastest growing company in America. He sees nothing but continued growth in the company’s future.

Kurzius’ nomination for the award came from Jason W. Taylor, President of Code Authority — a custom software development company.

“[Rex] has always been available to mentor and guide me at Code Authority,” said Taylor, “Now Asset Panda is soaring, and this is truly a fitting recognition for one of Frisco’s most important entrepreneurs.”

Asset Panda was also a finalist for the Chamber’s Medium Business of the Year and Employer of the Year awards.

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce hosted the 35th Annual Frisco Number Ones Gala on Friday, February 1, at the Embassy Suite Dallas-Frisco Hotel to commemorate the businesses and individuals who contribute to the growth of Frisco’s economy and community.
