Integrations
Microsoft Intune + Asset Panda Pro
Bring Microsoft Intune device data into Asset Panda Pro, update select fields, and support device actions with less duplicate entry.
Key benefits
-
Spend less time updating device lists
Sync managed-device details from Microsoft Intune to selected Asset Panda Pro collections on demand or on a schedule, reducing repeated exports and manual re-entry.
-
Match devices to the right records
Map Intune Device ID or a reliably populated serial number as a unique identifier, helping synced changes reach the right asset record instead of creating duplicates.
-
Support device actions from your asset workflow
Initiate supported Intune actions, including Remote Lock, Retire, Wipe and Delete, while working with the corresponding asset records in Asset Panda Pro.
What device data and actions are supported?
The integration lets you map documented Intune device fields into Asset Panda Pro, with a separate mapping for limited updates back to Intune.
| Information / action | Direction | Documented examples |
|---|---|---|
| Device identity and hardware | Intune → Asset Panda Pro | Intune Device ID, Serial Number, Device Name, Device Manufacturer, Model, OS and OS Version |
| User, ownership and status | Intune → Asset Panda Pro | Primary User Name / Email, Ownership, Compliance, Device Enrollment Type |
| Supported field updates | Asset Panda Pro → Intune | Managed Device Name, Notes and Ownership only; requires its own mapping |
| Remote device actions | Asset Panda Pro → Intune | Retire, Wipe, Delete and Remote Lock, subject to supported device conditions |
Sync timing: Runs are manual or scheduled. Real-time synchronization is not supported. Available source values can vary by enrolled device.
How the Microsoft Intune integration works
-
Register and authorize the connection
Register an application in Microsoft Azure, generate a client secret and grant the required Microsoft Graph permissions with administrator consent.
-
Connect Microsoft Intune to Asset Panda Pro
Open the Integrations Store, enter the Client ID, Tenant ID, Application Object ID and Client Secret, then test and save the connection.
-
Map the data you want to track
Choose your Asset Panda Pro collection and Intune entity, map the fields, and set a stable unique identifier. Create a separate mapping if you want to update supported fields in Intune.
-
Run and review your sync
Run the mapping when needed or create a scheduled sync. Review the integration logs to check synchronization results.

Requirements
- An active Asset Panda Pro account with access to the relevant Integrations Store module.
- A Microsoft Intune environment backed by Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
- Administrator permissions to register an app and grant Microsoft Graph API access in Azure, plus administrator access in Asset Panda Pro.
- Existing Asset Panda Pro collections and fields to receive the selected Intune device data.
Recommended for reliable matching: use Intune Device ID, or a serial number that is consistently populated and unique in Asset Panda Pro.
Frequently asked questions
Can Asset Panda Pro import devices from Microsoft Intune?
Yes. You can map Intune-managed device information into an Asset Panda Pro collection and run the import manually or on a schedule.
What Microsoft Intune device details can I map?
Documented fields include Intune Device ID, serial number, device name, manufacturer, model, operating system, primary user, ownership and compliance information. Availability depends on the device data provided by Intune.
Can changes in Asset Panda Pro be sent back to Intune?
Yes, but only Managed Device Name, Notes and Ownership are supported for updates back to Intune. This direction requires a separate mapping.
Does the Intune integration sync in real time?
No. Synchronization runs when you start it manually or when a configured schedule executes. Integration logs help you review the results.
How can I reduce duplicate device records?
Use Intune Device ID as the unique identifier when possible. A serial number can also work if it is present and marked unique in Asset Panda Pro. Correct field mapping is important; duplicate prevention is not guaranteed.
Can I remotely lock, wipe, retire or delete Intune devices?
The integration documents Remote Lock, Wipe, Retire and Delete actions. Device eligibility and effects can vary according to the device platform, enrollment and Microsoft Intune permissions.
What access is needed to set up the connection?
Setup requires an Azure app registration, Microsoft Graph permissions with administrator consent, and Asset Panda Pro administrator access. You will enter the Client ID, Tenant ID, Application Object ID and client-secret value in the integration settings.
